MICROgenius is a measuring machine primarily designed for two-dimensional inspection of components used in the aeronautical, automotive, mechanical-textile, electrical-electronic, household appliance, and rubber industries, as well as in all cases where fast and accurate inspection is required. It is also particularly suited for batch testing of parts.

The operating principle is based on a standard or high-definition telecentric lens of absolute precision, combined with a camera system for capturing images of the part under examination.

Once the measurement program has been created, it is sufficient to place the part on the glass stage, and the dedicated software will automatically detect the required dimensions. The results are generated instantly and can be used for further statistical analysis. It is possible to store “n” measurement programs, allowing the system to automatically identify the relevant program when the part is placed on the stage; therefore, no manual search is required.
